Merry Christmas!
Yet, another year is almost over and Christmas is coming ahead shortly. The celebration of love and harmony is in modern times rather like a marathon therefore a short moment of contemplation is more important than ever.
For us modern people Christmas means first of all a lot of stress. However, it always comes so suddenly: Not long ago it was the beginning of October. The supermarkets’ aisles have been overflowing with marzipan, gingerbread and spiced biscuit. We shook our heads and said: “Until then there is a lot of time” – and whoosh – there is it the celebration of love. But, the love often falls by the wayside. However, in times of burn out and co rests are more important than ever.
Why not use the Christmas holiday to relax? Of course the presents have to be packed and the Christmas goose has to be pushed into the oven. But stress is a state of mind. If approached with hectic the Christmas mood will be nipped in the bud. Not even a well decorated Christmas tree will help in this situation. Nevertheless most of us get some days off of work. Especially parents should not replace it direct with Christmas stress. They will fast enough come to this point, when the Barbie horse or the remote controlled car does not look like the kids saw it on television.
The Christmas time is beautiful and we should remind ourselves of it. This can be done while enjoying a beer or a glass of wine, when the tree is decorated and everything is set up. For the faithful Christians this celebration is even more important. It is not about the presents or about being a perfect host. The family is most important and to celebrate Christmas with friends and family is priceless. These moments are rather rare in these times of Smartphones. Therefore we should enjoy it.
With this in mind we, Malek Brautech, would like to wish our readers, customers, employers, friends and their families a blessed and especially relaxed merry Christmas time.
