Gift tips for Christmas
Christmas getting closer again. And the question of all questions is: What will I give whom? In order to make the choice easier we have some ideas for present all centered around the topic of beer – not only for men.
It is already possible to make the pre-Christmas period light and sweet with a beer Advent calendar. The principle is brilliant and simple: Take a crate with 24 beer bottles as content, decorate it Christmas festively and open a crown cap every day beginning at the 1st of December. Everybody who likes it more personal can handcraft their own bottle labels or order the complete “calendar” under http://www.beerstickr.com/ Than the beer bottle wears its own sort-name. On this homepage you will also find various other things about the topic of beer like mugs or beer mats which can be labelled with your name. For pre-Christmas beer mood ensures also crown caps of the favourite brand in Advent wreath or Christmas tree.
To make your own beer
People that do not just want to give a self-created label, but a very personal beer should take a beer-brew-set. It consists of a standard bucket with dispensing head which serves as fermenter, wort and yeast. There are additional four fermentation tubes and a measuring spoon. This has been found under: http://www.weihnachtsgeschenke.org/. As a special gag it is possible to order also a certificate which awards the donee to “The Best Master Brewer In The World”.
Collector’s items
The next gift tip is for the real beer fans out there, it might be a little pricier though: Many breweries offer special editions of their products. Among them Carlsberg from Denmark. Their Vintage No.2. with € 270 per bottle it belongs to the most expensive beers in the world. The beer is nearly black with espresso like foam. It is said that it releases the aroma of vanilla, chocolate and whiskey. Since there are only 150 produced bottles this gift is for real connoisseurs and collectors. Who wants to spend less money can take the beer with the world’s highest alcohol contend instead, the Schorsch Bock. With current 57 percent alcohol it is not suitable as a after work beer, but as a Christmas gift. This beer is filled in ceramic bottles which makes it also very popular for collectors. There have been only 36 bottles produced. The label will be signed and the filling date will be added by hand. At a price of 60.61€ per 100 ml it is not especially cheap but still affordable. Of course there are a lot of other special editions, but to mention them all would exceed this post. One additional tip: If you are searching for something special you will find it abroad.
Fun, games and excitement
At heard every adult sometimes is like a child. So why do not give a game? Besides beer quartets for adults and several beer quizzes there are also board games around the topic of beer on which the own beer glass is the piece and it is played until the last one is laying under the table – this is not for inexperienced beer drinker. Skill and drinking performance are also required at the game of “The creasy beer tower” (Amazon: Euro 9.90). Aim of the game is that all mini plastic beer bottles are positioned on the tower und to collect in the same time as much points as possible with different tasks around beer. The trick is to keep ones nerve in spite of the shaking tower and increasing alcoholisation. A fantastic game for adult children.
If you have any further ideas or suggestions we are looking forward to hearing them.
